Yes you ARE!!! This event is for the "average" Joe, with NO/Little driving experience needed to come out and race for a great cause.

We had some OMG cars, and that is fine as well, but the majority of the cars are just street daily drivers like you have right now in the garage/driveway!!

So right, for anyone feeling intimidated by this event, don't be! This was my first racing event ever last year and it was incredible fun. The people are friendly and we all share a passion for cars no matter what they are.

And if you're worried about your ride, just think, I brought an 06 Saturn Ion Redline to the event last year and took second in my class. Stock car and no experience and got second. Moral of the story, don't be intimidated. Come out and join the fun!

Well said I only put down 110hp. I got it handed to me in the drags, But really helped the TEAM in autox. This is a team event and different cars do better at different things. We need some of both.

I think we all need to band together and not let Kevin do any more :rofl:. every time he :rofl: has ended up in alot of problems on his part. I think we should give him a bicycle and make him start over on his driving skillz! The following is proposed

STEPS OF SUCCESS!!!!!!!
1. BICYCLE-MINIMUM OF 5 WEEKS OF RIDING. ALL LOGGED HOURS WILL BE SIGNED OFF BY THE WW BOARD.

2. 2 SEATED BICYCLE- THIS IS A DAGEROUS MACHINE AND SHOULD BE SUPERVISED. A BOARD MEMBER MUST BE PRESENT THROUGH ALL VENTURES FROM HOME OR STEP BACK DOWN TO THE BICYCLE. MINIMUM LOGGED HOURS OF 15.

3. MOPED SCOOTER- THIS IS THE FIRST STEP BACK INTO MOTIZED MACHINERY! MINIMUM LOGGED HOURS OF 40. NO SUPERVISION REQUIRED.

4. GEO METRO- ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE ON YOUR OWN. ONLY IN THE PRESENCE OF A BOARD MEMBER. IF BOARD MEMBER NOT PRESENT RESORT BACK TO STEPS 1, 2, AND 3. NO MODIFICATIONS OF VEHICLE ALLOWED. MINIMUM TIME OF 1 YR.

5. OLD FORD THUNDERBIRD. THIS IS YOUR NEXT STEP TO SUCCESS. NO ENGINE MODIFICATIONS ALLOWED BUT CAN CHANGE SUSPENSION AND BODY PARTS. NO R COMP TIRES ALLOWED. NO SUPERVISION REQUIRED. 2 YR MINIMUM.

6. 91 NISSAN 180SX/S13. 240SX'S CAN NOT BE SUSTITUTED. IF SPECIFIED CAR CAN NOT BE FOUND AT THAT TIME RESORT BACK TO STEP 5. ALL MODIFICATIONS ALLOWED. MODIFICATIONS ONLY APPROVED BY BOARD MEMBER. 3 YR TIME IN THIS STEP.

7. ONCE MET ALL STEPS. A DRIVING TEST BEFORE THE BOARD WILL JUDGE YOU ON ALL ASPECTS OF WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED. IF THE BOARD FAILS YOU. YOU HAVE TO START ALL THE STEPS OVER AGAIN!

AT ANY TIME DURING THE STEPS THE BOARD CAN MAKE YOU GO BACK ANY LEVELS. FOR ANY COMPLAINTS IT IS A AUTOMATIC STEP DOWN IN CLASS.
