Will is going to send me a template of the scoring program we used last year, I thought maybe it would be easier than starting from scratch.??

I can forward the e-mail, it doesn't need to be posted on the site, just adjusted by someone who knows what they are doing.

Exactly! I am still trying to figure this points to bump one up to TOP GUN. Buschurs car started in class "C" I think. (Stock Evo). so how many points from your starting point in each class will bump you past "A" into top gun. Am I muddying up the water here? Or is it clear and I just don't see it yet.

Same as it takes to bump any one into the next class.
Same formula extended a class.
It's no diferent from stating in C and getting bumped to B.
I have selected the cars from NASA's Super Car class that are just above the performance level of the A class in the Time attack classes and dropping them into A but +17 so mods will put them into Top Gun.
These cars are fast on the road course but wont be able to use all their assets on the autocross and drag strip.
All Vipers are automaticly Top Gun according to NASA's classings.
I've just twisted it to be in line with our needs.

What we talked about at the meeting was that adding the slalom and the elimination to the scored events gave us a total of five scored segments
to be scored evenly.20% total score each segment.

I remember, low ET is a new scored event also-cool. HOWEVER, is there "X" points for finishing 1/2/3/4/5 etc... on drags, autox etc??? Not sure how you did that last time.

That's whats on the score sheet master Will e-mailed me.
He did all the scoring last year and it was his program that he made, so I cannot actually tell you exactly how he did it. He really likes complex math, so
we probably wouldn't understand it if he told us.

It's ok. I figure that within the next 5 years, my 8 year old cousin will be able to out-do me in computers. I'm sure they're going to start offering 'basic website building' in middle school soon. And their version of 'basic' will be like, Java, PHP, Flash, etc.
