We have to wait for our settlement from ORP. They add up all the money taken at the gate, then subtract the event costs from it, and cut us a check. It typically takes about a month or so for them to get that information together.

They are always done at a significant discount for the event and the vendor that steps up to help with this is promoted on the shirts, etc. It's not a huge deal.

Last year we didn't get a check from the track till the fall! Hope their on it this year.

Trophys are for you to look at, remind you, and to enjoy year-round for all the hard work you did to earn them. The trophies are the reflection of the sponsors commitment to give you all a special "Thanks" for comming out to help in the fundraising effort. "Toilet paper tube" trophies are too run of the mill.

If you give nice stuff out, you get more people to come out who want to take home the the hardware next time.
